The best-selling vehicle in Volvo's history is the XC60. Now, it has an all-electric sibling.
Volvo unveiled the 2027 EX60 earlier this week, an electric luxury crossover SUV the automaker says will deliver between 300 and 400 miles of range, depending on the trim.
The launch is a major bet for the Swedish brand. The EX60 enters a fiercely competitive luxury SUV market at a moment when EV sales in the US have slowed — and after a rocky stretch for Volvo's electric lineup. Both the EX30 and EX90 have faced software problems, and Jim Rowan stepped down as CEO in March 2025.
Volvo is now once again led by Håkan Samuelsson, the company's former chief executive, who has returned for a second stint at the helm. He says he's confident the EX60 will deliver.
