- MrBeast's company is hiring a "head of TikTok" as he looks to grow on the video app.
- This new hire will build a small team dedicated to tracking trends and making Beast-style videos.
- MrBeast rose to fame on YouTube and is also one of TikTok's top creators.
MrBeast is YouTube's biggest creator, racking up the most subscribers in the world with over 465 million. On TikTok, he hasn't quite captured the throne and is in third place, with nearly 125 million followers, behind influencers Charli D'Amelio (over 155 million) and Khaby Lame (over 160 million).
That could be set to change. There's a sign that the content creator, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is doubling down on TikTok in 2026. His company, Beast Industries, is looking to hire a new "head of TikTok" this year, according to a recent job posting.
This new hire will be tasked with "setting the TikTok strategy" and "scaling MrBeast's presence to new levels of creativity and performance" on the app, per the listing. The TikTok lead will build a small team focused on experimenting with videos, analyzing performance data, and "ensuring every post feels unmistakably 'Beast.'"
One former MrBeast staffer, who reviewed the job listing, told Business Insider that the goal seemed to be finding someone who "eats, breathes, lives, and fully understands TikTok" and knows how to pounce on trends.
Donaldson has good reason to invest in TikTok this year. The app now has over 200 million users in the US, where it recently escaped a ban by signing a joint-venture deal. MrBeast's candy and chocolate brand, Feastables, also recently launched on TikTok's e-commerce platform, Shop, selling around 11,000 products to date, according to in-app tallies.
While YouTube remains MrBeast's largest media platform, the content creator has been branching out beyond it for years.
His Instagram account recently crossed 84 million. He has "Beast Games," a popular show on Amazon Prime Video, and licenses his videos to other streaming platforms, such as Tubi. Dubbing his videos into different languages has also helped them spread worldwide and allowed him to post them on non-US platforms like Bilibili in China.
